Car Financing in Crooks

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Why rent first

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Questions to ask

Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

While you shop

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.

Honest about distance

CarmaCars is not in Crooks. Our one location is in Toronto. Delivery covers about 80 km around Toronto; Crooks is about 1,399 km away.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Shopping in Crooks? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Crooks if you like. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
