Emissions Test in Danforth, IL

Emissions Test: how we help

We arrange an emissions test through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Danforth. What this is: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

From request to repair

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.

Good habits for your car

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
