Buying a car in Danforth

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it.

Rent it before you buy it

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.

Buying smart in Ontario

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

Before your next car arrives

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.

CarmaCars and Danforth

We are based in Toronto; Danforth is not somewhere we have a location. About 774 km from central Toronto, Danforth is too far for our delivery area of about 80 km.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are unsure whether we can help with Danforth, ask; we answer plainly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
