Emissions Test in DeSable, PE

Getting it done

We arrange an emissions test through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in DeSable. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

How the request works

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Car care, briefly

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.

Before the shop starts

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
