Emissions Test in Dodds, AB

Emissions Test in Dodds

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Dodds is about 2,639 km away. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What CarmaCars does here

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair.

Between shop visits

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
