Emissions Test in Extension, BC

Emissions Test for Extension

For an emissions test in Extension, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. Plainly: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

The steps

We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair.

Small things that help

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Getting a clear quote

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
