Emissions Test in Fireside, BC

Emissions Test: how we help

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Fireside. Plainly: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

From request to repair

Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.

Between shop visits

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
