Emissions Test in Frampton, QC

Emissions Test: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 729 km from Frampton, and does not do this work itself. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

How the request works

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

Car care, briefly

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
