Emissions Test in Lucerne, BC

Emissions Test near Lucerne

For an emissions test in Lucerne, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. What this is: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

The steps

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price.

Between shop visits

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.

A short checklist

Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
