How the request works

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. A person reads every request and replies with the next step.

Questions to ask the shop

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

Car care, briefly

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
