Emissions Test in Murrell, QC

Getting it done

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 297 km from Murrell, and does not do this work itself. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

The steps

Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Good habits for your car

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.

What to ask

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
