Emissions Test in Nelson, BC

Emissions Test near Nelson

If you need an emissions test in Nelson: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

What to send us

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

A short checklist

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Between shop visits

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
