Emissions Test in Occidental, CA

Emissions Test for Occidental

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Occidental. An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

From request to repair

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Good habits for your car

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
