What CarmaCars does here

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.

Car care, briefly

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.

A short checklist

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
