Emissions Test in Puntledge, BC

Emissions Test in Puntledge

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Puntledge is about 3,494 km away. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

How we help

The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location.

Car care, briefly

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.

Talking to the shop

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
