Emissions Test in Soledad, CA

Emissions Test in Soledad

Emissions Test in Soledad: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

How the arrangement works

A person replies within one business day. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Between shop visits

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

What to ask

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
