Emissions Test in Squamish, BC

Emissions Test: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 3,360 km from Squamish, and does not do this work itself. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

What CarmaCars does here

We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. A person replies within one business day.

Small things that help

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
