Emissions Test in Strabane

Emissions Test in Strabane

For an emissions test, CarmaCars sits in the middle: we arrange the work with a trusted shop and rent you a car while yours is in. What this is: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What CarmaCars does here

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

A car meanwhile

We can have the rental ready the day your car goes in. If the shop finishes early, return the rental early. Skip the delivery fee by picking the car up from us.

Good habits for your car

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.

A short checklist

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
