Emissions Test in Sunset, Vancouver

Emissions Test for Sunset

If you need an emissions test in Sunset: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. Plainly: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

What to send us

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

A short checklist

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

Between shop visits

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
