Emissions Test in Sunset, CA

Emissions Test in Sunset

For an emissions test in Sunset, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

How the arrangement works

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Good habits for your car

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Check that all lights work every few weeks.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
