Emissions Test in The Cache

Getting it done

If you need an emissions test in The Cache: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. What this is: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

What we arrange

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Small things that help

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Getting a clear quote

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
