Emissions Test in Tranquille, BC

Arranging the work in Tranquille

For an emissions test in Tranquille, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

From request to repair

Your request reaches a person, not a machine. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Car care, briefly

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Talking to the shop

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
