Emissions Test in Tranquillity, CA

Emissions Test near Tranquillity

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Tranquillity. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Our part and the shop's part

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Between shop visits

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
