Emissions Test in Ungava

Emissions Test near Ungava

CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For an emissions test in Ungava, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. What this is: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Our part and the shop's part

We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. We can deliver a rental car to you while yours is at the shop. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

A car while yours is in the shop

A rental keeps the school run and the commute on track. A rental from us means you are not stuck while the shop works. You are also welcome to collect the car at our location for free.

Small things that help

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.

Getting a clear quote

Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
