Emissions Test in Upper Cape, NB

Emissions Test near Upper Cape

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Upper Cape is about 1,232 km away. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Our part and the shop's part

We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Good habits for your car

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
