Emissions Test in Upper Town, CA

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Upper Town. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Who does what

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

A short checklist

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Good habits for your car

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

About distance
