Emissions Test in Upper Tracy, NB

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Upper Tracy is about 1,013 km away. What this is: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

How the request works

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job.

Car care, briefly

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.

What to ask

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.

Where we are
