Emissions Test in Windfall, AB

Getting it done

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 2,894 km from Windfall, and does not do this work itself. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Our part and the shop's part

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

Good habits for your car

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

Before the shop starts

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
