Engine Repair in Five Points, TX

Engine Repair in Five Points

For engine work in Five Points, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

The steps

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. A person replies within one business day. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

Car care, briefly

Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Toronto based

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Five Points is outside our area. By straight line Five Points is about 1,996 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.
