Buying a car in Five Points

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try.

Rent it before you buy it

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

What to check before you buy

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

Between cars

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.

Our area and Five Points

CarmaCars works from Toronto. There is no CarmaCars branch in Five Points. By straight line Five Points is about 1,996 km from our location in Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Five Points, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Ask us about Five Points in a request; a person answers honestly. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
