Engine Repair in Lyons, MO

Engine Repair in Lyons

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Lyons is about 1,309 km away. The job: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

What we arrange

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

What to ask

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

Good habits for your car

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
