Engine Repair in Plummer, MO

Arranging the work in Plummer

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Plummer is about 1,234 km away. The job: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

The steps

Your request reaches a person, not a machine. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job.

Small things that help

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

Before the shop starts

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
