Engine Repair in Ruby, CO

Getting it done

For engine work in Ruby, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. What it involves: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

Who does what

Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work.

Before the shop starts

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

Car care, briefly

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
