Engine Repair in Tabor, SD

Arranging the work in Tabor

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Tabor. The job: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

What we arrange

Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. A person reads every request and replies with the next step.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Good habits for your car

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.

Renting from Toronto
