Engine Repair in Springfield, SD

Engine Repair: how we help

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Springfield is about 1,499 km away. What it involves: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

How the request works

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location.

Getting a clear quote

Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.

Small things that help

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
