Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

A buyer's checklist

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

Before your next car arrives

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.
