Shopping for a car in Springfield

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Drive it like you own it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Checks worth doing

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

While you shop

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Where we work

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Springfield. About 1,499 km separate central Toronto and Springfield, far past our 80 km delivery area.
