Engine Repair in Talbott, IL

Arranging the work in Talbott

We arrange engine work through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Talbott. The job: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

Who does what

We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

What to ask

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Car care, briefly

Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
