Towing in Talbott, IL

Arranging the work in Talbott

For a tow in Talbott, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. The job: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

From request to repair

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Small things that help

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.

What to ask

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
