Mechanic in Chiselhurst

Mechanic near Chiselhurst

For mechanical repairs or maintenance, CarmaCars sits in the middle: we arrange the work with a trusted shop and rent you a car while yours is in. The job: Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Tell us what the car is doing, and we find a shop suited to the job.

How the request works

Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

A rental while you wait

A rental from us means you are not stuck while the shop works. Rent for as long as the repair takes, by the day or the week. You can also collect the car at our location in Toronto at no charge.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

Between shop visits

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
