Towing in Chiselhurst

Towing in Chiselhurst

Towing in Chiselhurst: we do not do the work ourselves; we arrange it with a shop we trust. What this is: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

How the request works

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.

Driving while yours is at the shop

A rental from us means you are not stuck while the shop works. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Free pickup at our location is always an option.

Talking to the shop

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

Good habits for your car

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
