Mechanic in Devils Elbow, CA

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Devils Elbow. Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Tell us what the car is doing, and we find a shop suited to the job.

How we help

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.

A short checklist

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.

Good habits for your car

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
