Mechanic in Exeter, BC

Mechanic: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 3,219 km from Exeter, and does not do this work itself. In short: Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.

Who does what

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Talking to the shop

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.

Car care, briefly

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.

Honest about distance
