Mechanic in Knobs, WV

Mechanic for Knobs

If you need mechanical repairs or maintenance in Knobs: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Tell us what the car is doing, and we find a shop suited to the job.

How we help

We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. A person replies within one business day.

Car care, briefly

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.

Before you plan
