Mechanic in Mount Sharp, TX

Mechanic for Mount Sharp

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Mount Sharp is about 2,253 km away. The job: Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.

Who does what

We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Small things that help

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

What to ask

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
