Buying a car in Mount Sharp

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Leasing companies and dealers offer leases; CarmaCars does not, but a monthly rental needs no long commitment. A lease takeover or a new lease takes time to arrange; a monthly rental can cover that time.

Try it for a week first

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

What to check before you buy

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

Bridging the gap

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Before you plan

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Mount Sharp. We do not deliver as far as Mount Sharp, about 2,253 km from our location in Toronto.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you want to check something for Mount Sharp, send a request; a person replies honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
