Mechanic in Posts, CA

Getting it done

If you need mechanical repairs or maintenance in Posts: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.

From request to repair

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. A person replies within one business day. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

What to ask

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.

Small things that help

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.
