Shopping for a car in Posts

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try.

Drive it like you own it

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

What to check before you buy

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

Our area, and Posts

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Posts. We do not deliver as far as Posts, about 3,674 km from our location in Toronto.

Shopping in Posts? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you are unsure whether we can help with Posts, ask; we answer plainly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
