Mechanic in Simcoe

Mechanic for Simcoe

Searching for mechanic in Simcoe? CarmaCars does not do this work itself, but we arrange it with a trusted shop. What it involves: Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Routine maintenance and repairs are done by a mechanic at a shop we trust, not by CarmaCars.

Our part and the shop's part

Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

A car while yours is in the shop

If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Keep the rental as long as the shop needs your car. If you come to us, the pickup is free.

Good habits for your car

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Talking to the shop

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
