Oil Change in Compton, CA

Arranging the work in Compton

If you need an oil change in Compton: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. The job: An oil and filter change, done by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. The right oil grade for your engine is in the owner's manual.

What to send us

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

What to ask

If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.

Small things that help

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
